Welcome to Sonrise Baby Home! We are a baby orphanage located in Jinja, Uganda that serves to rescue and save babies who are starving and dying. We seek to provide a loving and safe environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually with the ultimate goal being that they would know the saving love of Jesus Christ and grow in His grace.

Babies are starving and dying every single day on the streets of Uganda. Most are abandoned, orphaned, malnourished, and neglected. They have no words to cry for help. They can’t ask for your compassion and love. They can’t talk to you about their hunger and starvation.

These babies are crying out for your help and compassion. They need your love and support. They need your prayers. They need nourishment. They need shelter. They need protection. They need clothes. They need medical care. They need loving arms.

This is where Sonrise Baby Home comes in. We have listened to their voice; we have heard their cry. Each of the babies that comes to Sonrise is able to receive much-needed nourishment, medical care, and love.

Because there IS HOPE! Jesus said, “I have come that they may have LIFE, and that they may have it more abundantly!” (John 10:10) Sonrise wants to be a part of Jesus giving that abundant life. We believe that Jesus has a plan for these needy children and hope that you will partner with us to be His hands and feet.

We can do all of this in the Name of Jesus and through HIS mighty power. If we let Him, He can save dying babies by using US. He can raise these babies up to be godly men and women of His kingdom through Sonrise, and you and me.
