ONE-TIME DONATIONS:

Your one-time donation to Sonrise Baby Home helps pay for immediate needs, new babies, and additional staff as we grow and take in more babies. One of our immediate goals is to house 30 babies at Sonrise.

You may also choose to use your one-time donation to purchase a specific item off of our “Wish List” – a list of items that we could greatly use at Sonrise Baby Home. Link and list are soon to come! But currently, one of our biggest goals and visions is to buy our own land and build! Right now we are renting a house and property for the baby home, but it would be so much more efficient and economical to own land where we can expand, build homes to suit our exact needs and take in more babies! Right now the curret estimate to be able to buy LAND with enough room to expand and grow in years to come, AND build a HOUSE for the baby home (to house 50+ babies) would be approximately $22,000 USD!

We are so excited to see what God is going to do and how He is going to raise this money. I know the figure seems daunting and the task large, but we serve a mighty and AWESOME God! PLEASE join us in prayer that God will provide our every need as we seek to care for these precious babies. Please pray that God will continue to provide for their lives and their needs each and every day. PRAY that God will provide for land and housing so that Sonrise may be able to reach more and more children with the precious love of Christ.

GENERAL MONTHLY DONATIONS:

Perhaps you are being led to support Sonrise Baby Home on a monthly basis. Please consider a monthly donation amount that you choose to give. This money goes to the emergency baby fund, provides transportation to the hospital, pays for unexpected hospital bills, and provides for any other crisis that may occur.

The Emergency Baby Fund is set up to provide for babies who are in extreme physical danger and need immediate care. This can be when we have a baby that is abandoned on the streets, left on our doorstep, found in dumpsters, etc. Turning away these babies would be a matter of life and death.

SONRISE CHILDREN’S HOME FUND:

Our vision for Sonrise Baby Home is to eventually expand and add a Children’s Home for the babies to transition into. This is one of our greatest visions and goals! We would love to have the babies transition easily into a Children’s Home that is run by Sonrise Baby Home Ministries. The Children’s Home will be staffed by a “House Mom” who will be there to provide a loving, safe environment. All meals will be eaten together at home and there will be daily devotions and prayer time. During the day, the children will have the opportunity to attend school – all the way through high school – which is a rarity in Uganda! Our first step toward this goal is housing for the children, after which we will hire needed staff, set up daily routines, enroll the children in school, etc.
