THANK YOU so much for joining with us in our effort to save babies in the name of Jesus! By sponsoring a precious baby, you will help ensure that these babies receive food, shelter, and care, but most of all that they will know the love of Jesus! Sponsoring one of the Sonrise babies could be one of the most rewarding things that you will ever do; you will be making a difference in the life of a child. As you partner with the Sonrise staff in raising this child, you will be giving them the love of Jesus. This commitment of connecting with a baby’s life is not one that we take lightly. Your decision to become a sponsor is a commitment to the total development of the baby you choose. Just as Jesus “grew in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and man,” we invite you to be a significant part in the baby’s development physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Sponsoring is one of the highest levels of commitment, to specifically pray for and support a young life at Sonrise Baby Home. We also ask that you lift up in prayer those who will be directly raising the baby. Your prayers for the staff of Sonrise will encourage them to teach the babies to walk in the way of the Lord. These babies desperately need your help, without it their lives are in jeopardy. Thank you for caring! With this sponsorship you will be receiving an informational email about Sonrise and the baby you are now sponsoring and supporting! By sponsoring a baby at Sonrise you will have one specific baby to be your “face” of Sonrise Baby Home. The donations given will go toward saving all of the Sonrise babies, as we are getting in new babies all of the time that might not yet have sponsors but will need immediate care. In sponsoring, you will receive updates and information on your specific baby and will be able to follow him or her for hopefully years to come! HERE’S HOW IT WORKS…

1. The full cost of sponsorship per baby is $120USD per month. We realize that not everyone is able to commit to giving a full $120USD sponsorship. So, we are  happy to offer sponsorships at different levels. Our first level of giving is $30USD per month, second is $60USD per month, and a full baby sponsorship is $120USD per month. Please just give as you feel the Lord leading you!
2. Saving a baby and raising them in a home like Sonrise is quite different and much more costly than living and being supported in a village. At Sonrise we are able to provide a safe living environment where the babies receive constant care, proper nourishment, and all medical care necessary for survival. We have seen first-hand the benefits of giving orphaned children the stability of being raised in the same home for years. We invite you to be a partner in that blessing in their life.
3. The sponsorship funds cover food, shelter, electricity, beds, linens, mosquito nets, around-the-clock care, clothes, clean water, medical care, medicine, and the love of caretakers who love the Lord.
4. Infant vs. Child: At Sonrise Baby Home our goal is to help the babies who are in the most need of rescuing. This encompasses children who are in abusive situations, infants who are sick and starving, premature babies who are on the verge of death, and everything in between. When dealing with babies of this nature, the cost can be very great. They require extra care and supplies that older children do not need. These include cribs, milk every four hours, bottles, diapers, blankets, medicine, shots, etc. Needs that are crucial in the early moments of a baby’s life. A staff member is needed for every two premature babies whereas if you are dealing with children, one staff member (house mom/dad) per twenty children might be sufficient. This staff need greatly increases the cost as increased staff=increased food, medical care, salaries, etc.
5. All sponsorship money is put into one large account to cover the monthly expenses and necessities that are mentioned above. As our immediate goal is to house 30 babies it would be very difficult to keep up with an individual account for each baby, and individual allowances for the baby’s specific needs. Sometimes emergencies arise such as hospital bills, unexpected surgeries, and serious illness. These require extra money that is not accounted for in monthly sponsorships. In order to cover these unforeseen expenses, we draw from the single Sonrise Baby Sponsorship account to ensure that all of our babies are taken care of and provided for to the best of our abilities. Our prayer and trust is that this sponsorship money will be able to cover any and all of these emergencies. We also have an emergency baby fund that comes from individual donations, fundraising, etc. and this money will be used in the event that the baby sponsorship money does not cover the necessary care.

Getting Started…

1. Choose a baby! Here’s where the fun and joy really begins! We currently have all of the Sonrise Babies listed on our “Meet the Babies” page with each of their stories and a few pictures. You might already have a baby in mind, or you might want to read the stories to choose one! You might have no idea and would like to know who we would suggest for you – one that might have a particular need, situation in life or background that you would connect with. Whatever the case may be, we are here to help you in choosing the baby you wish to begin a relationship with! Please let us know if you have any questions or need any help during this whole process!
2. Pick a sponsorship level! We have sponsorship beginning at $30 per month and going through $120 per month. The levels are: $30, $60, $90, $120USD/month with the $120 sponsorship being a full sponsorship. Please prayerfully consider the commitment that you want to make in the life of this baby. We want this to be from your heart to the baby’s!
3. Begin helping now! Send your monthly sponsorship to your baby along with your prayers and care! If you would like to support by the quarter, semi-annually or by the year instead of by the month, this is also a great option! Please just click on the correct box which has the frequency payment option that you would want!
4. PRAY! It is now our responsibility to lift up these little ones to the Lord Jesus, understanding that they have no earthly parents to pray for them and intercede to the Lord on their behalf. Please consider this your greatest contribution in their life and take this to heart! We believe that God moves in answer to His people’s prayers! Please also pray for the staff as they will be daily interacting with the babies and helping to raise them.
